Award for Best Expressionistic Abstract

The composition captures a moment of natural luminescence, featuring a vibrant brown core and radiant yellow, orange, and gold petals that evoke the warm, illuminating glow of the sun.

Exhibition and Recognition

This painting received a Merit Award at the Heartland gallery exhibition in Plymouth, the Judge noted that the acrylic pour as a technique can sometimes be polarizing in the art sphere. There is no doubt as to the satisfaction of the visual display the process achieves.

Merit Award

This piece was inspired by the recent 2026 Artemis II mission of the Lunar Flyby. The crew flew around the Moon and captured a photo of the far side, providing new views and data never seen before by a human. The crew made observations and took photos of the Moon and Earth from a unique vantage point.
